At the end of the workshop, participants will gain specific skills to facilitate macro groups, including how to:
Identify advocacy roles and organizations
Advocate for the under-represented - use available resources.
Understand the lobbyist role
Recognize the unique perspective, role, and myths associated with consumer /community advocacy NASW, CO, NAMI CO, Federation of Families, CAFCA, School Alumni connections
